Marsha Roos Endorsed by QEA

Quincy, MA, July 31 - Marsha Roos is proud to announce that the Quincy Education Association has endorsed her candidacy for School Committee. The QEA Candidate Recommendation Committee stated, "Marsha has been a guidance counselor for decades in neighboring Braintree. Roos has witnessed firsthand how students' behaviors and emotional needs have increased exponentially since the COVID pandemic. She understands fundamentally that the current social and emotional needs of public school students currently outpace staffing levels across the state. We believe she will be a fierce advocate for addressing the needs of students and for promoting equal access to programs for all kids across the district."

Throughout her professional career, Marsha has successfully collaborated with students, families, educators, and administrators. Roos, having firsthand experience with many Quincy public school teachers through her three children attending these schools and her involvement in numerous community activities, says she is familiar with the challenges students and teachers face. She promises to be a strong advocate for them so that our schools can reach their full potential.

Marsha is thrilled to accept the endorsement of the QEA, which represents almost 1,000 members in the Quincy Public Schools.
